Our Team

Welcome to Zion Lutheran Preschool!

Choosing which preschool to send your child is not only an important decision, but also, inarguably, very difficult. It is not without saying that you want the best for your child, and you want to be assured when leaving your child that he or she is in loving, caring and educated hands. As a parent myself, I know one of the hardest things to do is to take your child to a new school, leave them with unfamiliar faces, and wonder how they are adjusting to a new environment. With this knowledge, and, as the Director of this preschool, it is of upmost importance to me to cultivate a loving environment for your children and you.

Here at Zion, our goal is to provide a strong, quality education in an environment that helps your child flourish, and, we are able to achieve this goal through the efforts of our extraordinary staff.  I take tremendous pride in putting together a staff that nurtures, teaches, loves and guides your children as they start their academic careers.  Most of us have been at Zion for several years together, ….we are a family….and, by joining Zion Lutheran Preschool, you can be certain that your child will be cared for as the newest member of our family.

And he took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me."

Our Faculty and Classroom Visitations

Our staff and trained professionals have PA State and Department of Public Welfare clearances and have extensive Classroom experience. The ratio of children to staff is four to one for 2 year olds and six to one for ages 3-5. Classroom visits are welcomed. We suggest you call in advance to make sure the director, Tracey Harris, is available to give a guided tour of the facility to see our exceptional school in action and to have your questions addresses.
